The biggest prize from the Powerball in 2012  ($337 Million)  will be claimed soon as the lucky person who has bought the matching ticket for the winning number of 6, 27, 46, 51, 56, and the Powerball number of 21 drawn on the 15th of Aug has contacted the Michigan Lottery officials.

As mentioned in many local, national and international newspapers and TVs, this winning ticket of the 3rd largest prize in the Powerball history and the 7th largest in the US lottery history was bought by a shop customer at the Sunoco Station at 1489 N. Main St. in Lapeer, Michigan.

Although the winning numbers had been announced days before (16th of Aug), the winner had not contacted the Lottery's Public Relations Division until the 21st of Aug. Then, on the 22nd of Aug, the Michigan Lottery claims that the lucky person who won the Powerball Jackpot of $337 million had already contacted them saying that they have the matching tickets.

Now many reporters are waiting for the winner to claim the prize as the authorities will not release any information about the ticket-holder until he comes forward officially for the millions he won. It is not yet explained whether the winning ticket has been verified by the Michigan Lottery or not but this winner will surely be one of the richest person in Michigan.
