Stewart’s Shop has been very popular lately for selling three winning lottery tickets to three different customers at three different locations. The three of them won the same amount of money, $1 million each. They were then invited to give a press conference in Saratoga Springs on Tuesday by Yolanda Vega, the official of the New York Lottery.
The three lucky winners are Ansel Lyman from Galway , Diane Staples from Mechanicville, and Douglas Adams from Montrose in Westchester County. Those three people did not really intend to buy the lottery tickets that was why they were a bit shocked to know that they won. Lyman and Adams had almost similar story saying that they were just buying coffee at different Stewart’s shop. Lyman added that when he saw the scratch-off lottery stand, he just picked some and he was surprised that one of the tickets won $1 million.
Another winner, Diane Staples, went to Stewart’s to buy some milk on 22 September when she saw the Powerball Quick Pick and she just bought them. She did not even know that she won until her boyfriend called her telling that the winning ticket was bought in Stewart’s near and asked her to recheck. September was definitely a lucky month for Stewart’s shop and their three customers.
