Lottery is one of popular games in USA. Most of the states run this game to fund some social organizations. Arizona also does the same thing, although only 51% of the vote approves to legalize this game.
Since July 1981, USA Arizona The Pick has grown enormously. Even, in 2010 it was in the first rank of all AS states lotteries in terms of increase of overall lottery sales. It announced that it increased $551 millions returns.
To play this game is very easy. The players just pay $1 to get a lottery ticket. They have to choose six numbers in the range of 1 to 44. Like any other lottery games, the players can choose the six numbers by themselves or use Quick Pick, a computer program that will help to choose the numbers randomly. A ticket can be used for ten consecutive drawing dates. What they have to do is jut to tell the reatiler when they buy the ticket or mark the number of draw on the number selection slip.
The chance to win this game is relatively open. The odds of winning a cash prize are approximately 1 in 39. To win the jackpot, the players’ selected numbers must be same as the drawing numbers. However, the players still can get sum of money althogh they do not make correct six-number guess. If the players choose 5 mathing numbers, they will get $2000. Four numbers and three numbers value $50 and $3 rspectively. There is a possibility that some players has six correct numbers. If this happens, the jackpot will be shared in equal numbers.
The drawing is always held every Wednesday and Saturday evening. If there are not matching numbers, the jackpot will increase and will be given until the players have same six numbers as the drawing numbers. When the players win the jackpot, they can get the prize as a 30-year annuaty or a lump-sum cash payment. If they do not choose how to get the payout withn sixty days, the prizes will be paid as an annuity. Moreover, the prizes must be claimed within 180 days after the drawing.
