Starting from June 26, 2011, tickets for "Nebraska Pick 5" can be bought from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. (Central Time), during the day of the week. Sales are suspended every day, from 9:00 p.m. to 9:03 p.m., on drawing nights. Each play costs $1. A player needs to pick up to 5 different sets of numbers on each play slip. The same numbers can be purchased and played for up to 72 consecutive drawings if a player marks the multi-draw box on their play slip.
The "Nebraska Pick 5" is drawn during six days a week. This game is played by a player picking five numbers. A player needs to numbers between 1 and 38. Printing will make a free "Quick Pick Play" prize eligible for using in the next drawing. A player can't pick their own numbers on the free "Quick Pick Play" prize.
