Cash 5 originally had numbers between 1 and 39 but the numbers has increased from this level to 1- 43. The minimum jackpot of $100,000 has increased to $125,000. This jackpot is paid as lump sum and not in bits.
Playing the game

Claiming your prize
- For Lottery prizes within $2,500, Pennsylvania Lottery retailers can pay winners.
- For winners of above $600, they must fill a standard form, which must be sent to the PA lottery Headquarters. This form can be obtained from a licensed Lottery retailer as well as from any of the seven lottery area offices. The claim form can also be filled on the internet after which it is printed out and taken to the closest area office alongside the winning ticket.
- For prizes above $2,500, the PA lottery is saddled with the responsibility of processing your claim form. A Lottery prize check is sent to you within 4 – 6 weeks.
