Despite low economic condition which is happening recently in Spain, a group of factory workers are celebrating the El Gordo lottery prize for about €4 million from hundreds millions of Euros distributed in Spain during Christmas holiday this year. More than 100 lottery punters are celebrating the glorious moments in a city near Madrid. There were around 130 factory workers from Alcalá de Henares who were playing in group and won the big prize.
According to the El Gordo lottery officials, it is certainly great news for the winners to get the prize as the country has been in deep economic crisis for the last few years. What is more important is because Christmas is coming so people will surely have more than enough to celebrate Christmas.
This year, besides the El Gordo worth €4 and other second and third tier prizes, there are 180 prizes of Spanish tickets given for €200 each which donate 20% of the total ticket sales to the government. The El Gordo number was 76058 while number 76057 and 76059 became the next prizes obtaining €20,000. Spaniards really have a lot to celebrate this Christmas. Merry Christmas!!
