Ron Yurcus might have spent all of his life helping others as he has been serving people in a hospice but now he will have more to share to others after winning $1 million in a Powerball lottery drawing two months ago by matching 5 of the 6 numbers.

It was not until last week that he found the lottery ticket on the desk. Working at St. Petronille Parish in Glen Ellyn as a deacon, he has donated much of his thought and energy to serve the needy there. Now he will be stronger, financially, and able to help give supplies and build facilities to them.
Yurcus (45) found the ticket when he was doing some routine cleaning to his desk at home. He accidentally found the ticket worth $1 million. He then told his wife about it and instead of planning on going for an expensive holiday or spending the money n luxury, the couple is planning to invest the money and make a list of charities they could do with the money. What a generous couple!

Now they have decided to spend the money to improve the service at the church where Yurcus is working and develop a food pantry for homeless people
