A new policy being proposed to protect the winners will include a statement that lottery winners will have a choice to keep themselves anonymous to public.
According to John Burzichelli, the Assembly Deputy Speaker, a lot of winners do not realize the risks of winning the lottery. They are interviewed on TV and written on the newspapers and suddenly people from all over the world will know where they live and how they run their life. The smallest crime that can happen to them is fraud but they can lose their life for it.
People are undoubtedly happy to win a lottery and some of them love to be famous definitely, but will they sacrifice their safety for that?
