Mysterious California Lotto Plus Winner Finally Claimed Her $23 Million Jackpot

The woman in blue top caught on the video and assumed as the winner of Super Lotto Plus in California finally stepped forward to get the $23 million jackpot after 5 months of the lottery drawing in May. She came to the California Lottery Office just in time, as the prize will expire in 25 days.

The woman’s name is still not announced yet as she perhaps wants to stay anonymous but the lottery officials said that she just never thought of winning the lottery when she bought the ticket. She just bought it, kept it in her car and never checked it.

According to Alex Traverso, the lottery official, this lucky winner knew that she won the lottery from her daughter who happened to watch the news and saw the mother’s picture released by the California Lottery as an attempt to find the winner. She then sent the picture to her mother. Luckily the woman still keeps the $23 million ticket in the car and it was still there, dusty and forgotten. The claim has been in the process but it may take a month for the woman to receive the money.
