Playing the game
The Lottery is drawn three times within a week. These are Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
- There are five boards for each play slip ranging from A to E. On each play slip, a player can play as many as five numbers.
- Players are free to buy tickets for as much as five minutes before the drawing and to continue with the purchase five minutes after the drawing.
- There are numbers 1-35 from which a player is to select five numbers.
- The cost of each game called wager is $1.
- The player is expected to match the numbers that can qualify him/her to win the expected jackpot.
- For the rest 30 numbers, an additional ball is drawn to match for extra secondary awards.
- This extra ball is neither selected by the player manually nor the computer. It does not also appear on the player’s ticket. It is just an extra number that is drawn to help in determining secondary prizes and not the main jackpot.
