"Decades of Dollars" (DoD) is a lottery game that's drawn in Virginia, USA. The game started in January 2011, with Kentucky and Virginia joining the same year. „Decades of Dollars" replaced a game called „Win For Life", in Kentucky, that ended in 2014 as a Virginia- only game. On October 16, 2014. , DoD was finally drawn for Arkansas, Georgia, and Kentucky. „Decades of Dollars" will end with the final drawing on April 30, 2015. Virginia will join Cash4Life on May 3.

"Decades of Dollars" is drawn on Monday and Thursday nights. Winners are allowed to choose to receive 30 annual payments of $250,000 each or a single payment ($4,000,000). The price of every Decade of Dollars game is$2. Players can choose 6 numbers between 1 and 47.

To win a free "Decades of Dollars" play generated by a lottery terminal, a player needs to match at least two numbers. For a three-number-match, a player wins $10 cash. If a player makes four out of six numbers match, they win $100 cash. The reward of $10000 cash is given to a player who wins a match with 5 of six numbers. The main prize, $250000 per year in 30 installments or $4000000 cash, is rewarded to a player who matches all six numbers.

The game’s first 112 drawings failed to produce a top-prize winner. Finally, a ticket sold in Georgia, March 5 2912, matched all six numbers.
Since the first top-prize winner in the year 2012, the same year top-prize was drawn in Evans, Georgia (March 5th), Smyrna, Georgia (March 8), Norfolk, Virginia (April,12), Madisonville, Kentucky (April 26), McDonough, Georgia (May 3), : Waynesboro, Virginia (May 10), Florence, Kentucky (August 16). Top-prize hasn't been drawn during the year 2013. During the year 2014, in Atlanta, Georgia, the top winner was drawn on October.
All „Decades of Dollars" top-prize winners have chosen a single payment in cashing their prize.

"Decades of Dollars" drawings were carried by the Georgia Lottery at WSB-TV in Atlanta (which hosts "Mega Millions" drawings). The ball sets and drawing machines moved to Virginia.

Arkansas, Georgia, and Kentucky eventually abandoned „Decades of Dollars" and participated in launching of "Monopoly Millionaires' Club" in October 2014. Unfortunately, MMC sales were suspended on December 26.

DoD has three options for their players- Multi- Draw, Future, or Repeat. If players choose a Multi-draw ticket, they can play the same numbers for multiple draws on a single ticket. Multi- draw ticket allows up to 26 draws for a player to play consecutively on one ticket. The ticket price increases for each draw a player adds. Players can also buy a ticket for one future draw date. To choose a „Future draw" option, a player needs to mark „Optional Plays" box on their payslip and let the store clerk know which future draw date they've chosen. The same numbers can also be repeated on more than one ticket up to 20 times.
Tickets cannot be canceled in Virginia, so the players are recommended to use a payslip to make sure that their numbers are correct. Winning ticket bought in Virginia must be redeemed in Virginia.
